    Finding Creative Flow States

    (0:02 - 4:04)

So I have this call with this psychic, right? I was recommended to this psychic. I was gifted this reading from a client, which was a really kind and generous gift. And it's always interesting when you connect with just mystics, right? I have many mystic leanings and in my family kind of lineage and all this stuff and you don't have to embrace it fully.

You don't need to be all in, right? And you know, if you're on the fence with these types of things, you don't need to like, you don't need to have judgment going into them, right? You can just suspend judgment for the experience. You can approach them openly and and just receive. You know, I always say to people, if they're thinking of and curious about these types of things, but I've never really done them, you know, is what if, right? So it's not even conclusive.

It's not even that you have to, you know, believe these things or receive every message or, you know, uh, walk around with the shirt on that says, you know, I believe in, you know, the supernatural or something, but what if there's something to it? What if there's something to that? Right. And it's with that openness, I feel we can collect additional insight into the world and into our life experience and our, our journey and, um, and you know, in our path and all this stuff. And I, I feel it's, it's interesting and, uh, and potentially helpful.

I mean, it's about consideration. And when I traveled, when I made a lot of kind of lifestyle shifts years ago, when I traveled, uh, where if you've followed any of my content or any of my stories or got to know me a bit, there was a major lifestyle shift for me in, uh, I guess like my early thirties, looking back at the clock and, you know, I just shifted all these different patterns of how I operated and the things I did and quit drinking and change my diet and a whole bunch of different, different things. And within that was travel.

I grabbed my suitcase and I left and I just started traveling without a destination. It just started flowing because the consideration was I feel there's more. What if there is more? What could that more look like? And, you know, do I need to know all the answers? You know, they say the difference between a traveler and a, and a tourist, right? Is it the tourist has the trip planned out and knows every place they're going at every time of day when they arrive at their destination, the traveler says, I'm going to this place.

And as they get there, then they feel out where they want to stay maybe, or like what they want to do. And they just kind of start going. And also maybe for how long they're going to be there.

Um, and that's, you know, something to infuse in life. So as we talk about like this, the psychic experience, which I want to get on and is similar, the suggestions I'm receiving from that to that experience. And that experience for me, which changed my life and set me on quite a path is, um, is about this flow, you know, and I've been sitting with this for the last little bit.

    (4:05 - 5:05)

And so I had this, this experience, and it was, it was pretty incredible. And I find them all really interesting. I've, you know, connected with and, and had readings with and worked with like, uh, shaman and, uh, medium and, and, you know, psychics and, uh, card readers and, you know, what else? I mean, you know, energy healers and all kinds of stuff.

Like it's a whole world to explore. If you haven't, I openly invite you to consider it. Uh, and all you need to do to, um, explore it is just to keep an open mind and say, what if there's something to this? What if this is true? What if these people have these abilities, um, and, and let that possibility in is really the, the extent of the commitment you need to make to it, to experience it.

    (5:06 - 6:56)

And if you don't feel it resonates, you can, you know, say thank you for the experience and you can carry on with your life. I mean, generally speaking, these things are not going to hurt you. Right.

So, so it was just something to add to the quote, the toolkit. So I had this experience and it was like a wind tunnel, like from the word go. And there was no real like prefacing to it.

There was no like, tell me your story and then feel into it and go from there. Um, it was like, Hey, how's it going? Like, here we go. Right.

And then we were just in and dialed for the full session. And I was thinking like, Oh, maybe I'll take some notes along this and whatever. And as soon as she got flowing, it was like, Whoa, I'm taking notes for sure.

Because what was coming through was just like, like wind tunnel. I'm telling you it was, it was incredible. And in that all kinds of fantastic and interesting insights.

And one of them, well, I mean, they're all kind of connected, but, but the, the digestion after, right. Digesting experience like that after is about feeling into like what the messages are, how do they connect together? And like, what does that mean for me? And how might, if I'm considering these, or like those feel reasonable, um, to me, how might I, how might I make some adjustments, right. Based on those, those insights and one that still connects, it does connect to this trip that I was just referencing in a way that's about flow and about flow state.

    (6:57 - 8:31)

And we live in a world I feel that is very, very structured and it's just very, um, just very rigid in its structure in many respects. And within that, we need to find the fluidity in that. And this was a bit what was coming up, I feel, and I felt about, um, embracing more of my creative, uh, ability and my various, you know, skills and talents and experiences and all this sort of stuff and holding more space for that to create from, um, you know, and then from an inspired place, whatever that might be, and give less attention to the need for that to fit into many structures and, and, and similar.

The elaborate on that, but the reason for that is because I have a lot of interests and I have a lot of things I'm involved in and I do a lot of different stuff. And the suggestion I am receiving is that, uh, that's cool and that's okay. And just go because those combinations all make me up uniquely.

    (8:33 - 9:42)

And that from this place, just share. And as I do, uh, what has meant for me will, will open and what is not will, will not. And, uh, and though, as I do it, I will always be creating.

I will always be participating from this place of what really interests and inspires me at the base. And through that, I will continue to, you know, grow and deepen relationships and connections with others who are curious about and interested in these types of things, uh, as well, right. It makes sense.

Uh, it's not like rocket science in what the suggestion is per se, but it's like, uh, it's a flow state suggestion because a lot of, um, the structural side is, is planning. And I'm a believer in like kind of fundamental shape and, and structure to certain things in business and stuff. Right.

    (9:44 - 10:26)

But then from that, once you've kind of poured the foundation a bit, so there's just a bit of shape to yourself. Like I have my personal brand is an example, right? I have my tools, uh, available to create with, right. Um, I have my channels, but then you can get stuck in some ways.

And I've felt this a bit for myself over the years because I'm interested in so many things, exactly kind of how you position who you are and what you're about and you know, what your keyword is and things like this, right. Which is relevant if it's really, really focused. But the suggestion is coming to me is I don't have to be.

    (10:27 - 11:03)

And all I need to do is show up and just be who I am and what I'm into, whatever that is every day and just explore it and, you know, share about it and, uh, and, uh, talk about it and similar. So it's, um, it's, it's like a, a great permission I've received on some level to just really do that. We don't need permission to do that, but it's reinforcing to just say, uh, go for it.

    (11:03 - 12:11)

Right. And, uh, and just create whatever the heck you want. So that's what I'm doing right now.

I've just turned this thing on and I said, okay, well I have my channels and, um, I have the things I do have my passions, of course, like all kinds of areas creatively, everything from, you know, from video and film to, to writing, to music, to, um, design and, and a whole bunch of stuff in business, startups and brands and marketing and, um, you know, uh, deal-making and company building and, uh, uh, all of these types of areas that, that flow through me. Um, I have clients I work with and work, you know, alongside to advance their ventures. I have, uh, my own private stuff that I'm building, um, you know, through all this, though, I still have me, which is my personal brand and presence.

    (12:11 - 14:13)

So, um, my intention here set today is a combination of things that I will flow and roll with through my channels. Uh, for any of you who are interested in my interests, my vibe and how I roll, and you're all welcome here to, uh, come on this journey with me where I'm going to embrace these suggestions that were made through my personal brand and my businesses kind of around more specifically and alongside that. And, um, I'm just going to create and, and publish and create and publish and just flow with what's coming up every day.

And I'm going to hold that space every, um, morning, generally speaking is a good, I feel practice to start the day, uh, to move that energy. And I feel initially I'll do it kind of the easiest way and ways possible evolving into the, uh, you know, more complex ways possible. I feel there are easy ways to create like I'm doing now.

I'm just, you know, sharing and recording, but if I wanted to do this same piece video, you know, then there's a full camera set up and video at it. And there's a whole like process to, to creating like this. So, you know, as far as like a getting started here, I'm going to just create from the place of what is easiest, and most efficient, even more than easiest, most efficient.

Some of these things are easy because I know how to do them. Uh, and they don't require a whole bunch of logistics to get done. So what's efficient so we can flow and we can just start, you know, moving with this.

    (14:15 - 15:03)

And then from, uh, here, uh, evolve, you know, and can get more complex with the creative offerings on the regular, as I pull in more, uh, you know, tools and, and, uh, partners as main is the need may be and things like that from, from this place. But the key is, is always, as I've said to all my clients over the years, any businesses I've been involved in and teams, we have to start from where we are. And for me and this more kind of personal creative journey, as has been seated and requested of me to, um, really embrace and begin.

    (15:05 - 15:11)

This is where I'm going to start from. So we'll see how that takes shape. Cause I love the video.

    (15:12 - 16:26)

So being able to do video daily would be great. Um, but the space will be held and I will just start creating and, uh, we're going to see where it goes. So, uh, just wanted to share some of that bit of storytelling here of where I'm at and what I feel is coming next.

So, um, hope all is cool with all of you. You know, you can look forward to all kinds of different things for me in the, in the realms of business, lifestyle, trends, uh, wellness, um, you know, business strategies, techniques, all kinds of different stuff. We're going to, we're just going to go with it.

And hopefully along the way, you find some value and inspiration in it. And it, um, has a positive resonance and impact on your world and in your life as well. So let's begin wishing you a great day, whatever time place or similar you are at listening to, uh, to this and, uh, we'll chat with you soon.
