Strategy Call with Chad McMillan

Bring me the opportunity, problem or decision you're working through. We'll figure out what matters, what you may be missing, and what to do next.

Sometimes you don't need another course, framework or generic answer. You need focused time with someone who can look at the situation from a different angle, ask the right questions and help turn complexity into direction.

Strategy Calls are one-on-one working sessions with me. They can be used for business and growth, capital and markets, new ventures and ideas, creative projects, positioning, major decisions, or personal strategy. Choose the level of depth that fits what you're working through.

Choose Your Level

Strategy Call — $197 USD

For one focused challenge, opportunity or decision.

  • 60-minute one-on-one strategy session
  • Pre-call intake so we can get to the issue quickly
  • Focused outside perspective and strategic problem-solving
  • Clarify the opportunity, obstacle or decision
  • Define practical next steps

Outcome: clarity and a focused action plan. An action plan answers: What should I do next? We identify the priority actions, decisions and immediate sequence needed to move forward.

Strategy Intensive — $497 USD

For a more substantial business, capital, creative or strategic question that needs preparation and a broader plan.

  • 90 minutes to 2 hours together
  • Pre-session intake
  • Advance review of relevant materials you provide
  • Deeper analysis of the situation, options and trade-offs
  • Strategy development during the session
  • Written strategic roadmap following the session
  • Reasonable clarification by email on the roadmap

Outcome: a strategic roadmap. A roadmap answers: Where are we going, how are we going to get there, and in what order? It connects the objective, priorities, major initiatives, sequencing and next milestones rather than stopping at immediate action items.

Strategic Deep Dive — $997 USD

For complex, high-stakes or multi-dimensional situations where we need room to really get into it.

  • Up to 4-hour private strategy session
  • Detailed pre-session intake
  • Deeper advance review of relevant materials
  • Research and preparation where appropriate
  • Full exploration of the opportunity, problem, alternatives and implications
  • Comprehensive strategic roadmap following the session
  • One full 60-minute follow-up strategy session to review progress, pressure-test decisions and adjust the roadmap

Outcome: a developed strategy and roadmap, plus a second working session to help move it from thinking into execution.

What We Can Work Through

  • Business strategy, growth, positioning and monetization
  • Capital raising, financing and investor strategy
  • Public company and capital markets strategy
  • New ventures, products, ideas and opportunities
  • Partnerships, transactions and strategic alternatives
  • Turnaround situations and difficult business decisions
  • Personal brand, positioning and career direction
  • Creative projects and innovation
  • Major decisions, transitions and next moves

You don't need to fit neatly into one category. Bring the situation as it is.

Action Plan vs. Strategic Roadmap

Action Plan: a focused set of immediate priorities and next actions. Best when you already have a relatively defined issue and need clarity about what to do next.

Strategic Roadmap: a broader path from where you are now to where you want to go. It considers the objective, strategic choices, priorities, sequencing, dependencies and milestones so the individual actions fit into a larger direction.

Need Ongoing Strategic Support?

If one session isn't enough, multi-call packages can provide continuity at a preferred rate. For ongoing corporate advisory, public-company work, transactions, capital markets, turnaround projects or larger strategic engagements, McMillan Strategies may be the better fit.

Not sure which level fits? Choose based on the complexity of the situation, not simply how long you want to talk. A focused issue usually fits the Strategy Call. A question that needs preparation and a broader plan fits the Strategy Intensive. A complex or high-stakes situation that needs deep preparation, extended working time and follow-through fits the Strategic Deep Dive.
